Our approach

Every /VELLUM. formula is made for daily use on the face and neck. This page puts the safety information for each product in one place: how to use it well, what each formula contains that sensitive skin may react to, and what to do if something doesn't feel right.

Full ingredient lists, directions, and warnings also appear on each product page and on the packaging.

Before you begin

  • Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inside of your forearm or behind your ear. Wait 24 hours before using the product on your face.

  • For external use only. Do not swallow.

  • Avoid the eye area. If a product gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

  • Stop if irritation occurs. Discontinue use if you notice redness, burning, itching, or swelling.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Use sunscreen during the day. Our serum and cream do not replace sun protection.

  • Ask your healthcare provider first if you are pregnant, nursing, being treated for a skin condition, or using prescription skincare.

Fragrance and allergen information

All three /VELLUM. formulas contain fragrance. The components below are listed in each formula's ingredient declaration and are known to cause reactions in some people. If you know you are sensitive to any of them, review the full ingredient list before use.

Storage

Keep containers tightly closed and store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not use a product if its color, scent, or texture has changed noticeably.

Had a reaction?

Stop using the product and rinse the area with water. If symptoms are severe or don't go away, seek medical attention.

Then let us know. We take every report seriously and will follow up with you.

  3. What happened and when it started

  4. Any photos, if you're comfortable sharing them
